On the BBB Cycling facebook site (click here) the BBB ThinkTank has been launched. The ThinkTank is a user platform that BBB will use to get feedback about cycling products. By joining the BBB ThinkTank, the member does not only get the privilege of having influence on BBB’s product development but also has the chance to win BBB prizes. For instance a BBB ThinkTank member can help us pick the best design of new products or come up with new product names.

The first project: Handlebar tape

Handlebar tape isn’t the first product which you think about of when thinking of bicycle parts with a lot of technical input. But what about thickness, structure, fixation and color of the handlebar tape? They all have influence on how much you enjoy your rides. That’s why BBB ThinkTank’s first project is about this important cycling gear. By completing a short questionnaire the ThinkTank user will contribute to the development of a new BBB handlebar tape. Among the respondents BBB will give away 10 BBB RaceRibbon handlebar tapes. The results of the survey will be published in the ThinkTank, so afterwards you can see what the opinion of other cyclists was. And of course, maybe even more important, what BBB will do with their opinion. Prize winners and invitations for the upcoming BBB ThinkTank-projects will be shown to members on the BBB Cycling Facebook newsfeed. What you have to do to become a BBB ThinkTank member?
